There will be social marquees set up on site at the park over for you to enjoy with other social campers staying on site.
This parkover is only a short walk to all the action happening just down the road.
LOCATION:
126b Mayfair Avenue Reserve, Whangamata
Look for the bus stop shelter located in front of the community gardens and the main gate into the reserve.
SITES:
We have larger sites for those who own a motorhome or caravan and have a custom car that would like to have it parked beside them for this event. So If you are bringing an extra trailer or hot rod / custom car and require extra room then you are more than welcome to book in our new deluxe sites.

PETS:
Dog friendly however all dogs must be well managed whilst in the reserve.
NO DOGS to be in or around the Social Marquee area.
CHECK IN DAYS:

CHECK IN TIMES :
10am to 5pm
Outside of these times you will have to call Mark in advance to arrange access through the locked gates, please do not just turn up as there is not always someone onsite to sign you in.
ARRIVAL:
Please report to the NZMTG mobile caravan office and you will be shown your site.
Rego of your motorhome or caravan and a contact cell phone number of a person staying on site is required as part of the council / NZMTG health & safety for this park over.
MAIN GATE:
Must be shut at all times and will be locked at night.
On Saturday only the gate must be locked at all times.
The code for the gate will be given to you to come and go as you please.

SITES:
Will be given out as you arrive, NO sites will be held just because you have stayed in that spot before.
GENERATORS:
Can be on only between the hours of 8am to 8pm

Your site is only confirmed once you have paid your deposit of $80.00 with the balance to be paid when Melanie emails you the balance.
If you are only staying two nights the full amount is due.
Thunder Hop Site Fee :
These sites are put on just for those who are bringing a custom car, that may need a larger site to cater for their motorhome, caravan or car trailer to be parked next to them.
Cost $60.00 per site per night.
(up to two people)
Extra adults are $10.00 per person per night.
Booking Terms:
When a booking is cancelled an administration fee of $80.00 will be deducted from your refund.
If a booking is cancelled within 30 days prior to your check in date, full payment is required and no refund will be given.
If the Beach Hop event is postponed to another date by the event organizers, your booking will be transferred to the postponement beach hop date.
Beach Hop Park Over Terms:
A) All motorhome, caravans & fifth wheelers staying on site MUST be self-contained, no tent sites.
B) Accommodation must be paid in full before you turn up on site.
C) Only one car per caravan or fifth wheeler will be allowed on site. Plus your custom car and trailer (visitors must park on the street)
D) All rubbish must be removed by yourself and your site to be left how you found it.
Any costs for removing your rubbish or repair to the damaged site will be charged to you.
No rubbish to be left in bags outside the main gate when you depart.
E) By you choosing to stay on site means you agree to abide by the rules of the reserve & laws of the land. One warning will be given, then you will be asked to leave without refund.
F) No Grumpy Bastard’s or Wenches allowed !!.
G) All visitors must be gone by 10pm and music off at 10pm.
The above is enforced as a requirement of the council terms & contract signed off to ensure the enjoyment of everyone staying on site and neighboring residential properties surrounding this lovely reserve.
